How It Works

Proper Sauna brings a private, wood-burning mobile sauna straight to your backyard, lawn, or short-term rental. Here's what the experience looks like from booking to breakdown.

The Experience Flow

1. Book your date. Pick your night(s) and confirm your delivery address is within our service area (Marietta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, or Alpharetta). Outside those cities? Ask us about longer distance delivery.

2. We deliver and set up. Our team hauls in the sauna, gets it leveled and fired up, and walks you through everything — how to work the stove, all of it. If you can light a fireplace or a grill, you can operate a sauna stove. We're flexible on drop-off times to fit your schedule.

3. You sauna. The unit fits 6-8 people comfortably — 6 spaciously, up to 8 if everyone's cozy — so it works for a solo reset or a full group session. Heat up, cool down, invite the neighbors and repeat as many times as you want during your rental window.

4. We pick up. Once your rental period ends, we come back, break everything down, and haul it away. We're flexible on pickup times too — just coordinate with us.

What's Included

Every rental comes standard with:

  • Wood-burning sauna (fits 6-8 people)

  • Changing/cool-down area

  • Delivery, setup, pickup, and a full orientation

  • A full day's worth of sauna wood

  • Cooling shower (needs garden hose connection)

  • Awesome sauna hats

  • Bucket, ladle, and aromatherapy

  • Battery-powered lights (no electrical connection needed for up to 36 hours of lights)

Want to level up your session? Ask about:

  • Cold plunge tub & ice

  • Extra distance delivery fee (for locations outside our standard service area)

Pricing

Starting at $350 for the first night, $250 for each additional night. Renting for a week or longer? Reach out and we'll work out a custom rate.

What We Need From You

Because the sauna is delivered and set up on-site, your space needs to meet a few basics:

  1. Parking/setup area is relatively flat

  2. Ground is firm — cement, gravel, grass, or dirt all work

  3. Space is at least 20 ft long x 12 ft wide (the trailer itself is 14 ft by 6ft wide)

  4. Any gates are at least 12 ft wide

  5. Overhanging trees or branches are at least 12 ft high

  6. Area is free of debris

  7. If your driveway is particularly steep, please ask us first

  8. Please bring your own towels and hydration

If you're adding the cold plunge:

  • You'll need a working water spigot and hose — we don't supply water for it

  • We need a spot at or near the parking area to drain the water

Renting at an Airbnb or VRBO? You'll need the property owner's permission before booking — happy to send over a message template you can forward to your host
